Setting up your invoicely account requires 3 basic steps: Entering your log-in details (email address and password), specifying your account subscription and information, and configuring your business name and URL.
Step 1: Log-in details
As the first step, please enter the email address you would like to associate your invoicely account with and specify a password of at least 6 characters.
Troubleshooting
- Passwords do not match: Please make sure the two passwords are identical.
- Email already exists: This error indicates that the email address you've entered is already associated to an invoicely account. You might want to consider resetting your password or contacting invoicely support.
Step 2: Account details & subscription
Next, you'll be asked to provide basic account information, such as your first and last name, address and country name. Optionally, you can also enter your company name, website URL, and Tax Identification Number. The more information you enter now, the easier it will be to upgrade your account later.
After submitting your account details you will be asked to choose a subscription plan. If you're not sure about which plan suits your business best, please feel free to take a look at our Pricing page.
If you prefer to stay on the Free Plan during signup, simply hit "Skip for now".
Step 3: Your business
As the last step before you can start invoicing, please enter the name of your business and your preferred Vanity URL.
Business Name: This is the name you would like your business to be referred to throughout your invoicely control panel. If you're an individual and would like to use your full name instead, simply check the "I'm an individual" checkbox below.
Vanity URL: Your Vanity URL is the URL your invoicely account will be hosted at. In other words, this is the URL that will be used to make your invoices available to your clients. Example: If your business name is "John's Plumbing", you may want to enter "johnsplumbing" for your Vanity URL (resulting in johnsplumbing.invoicely.com)
Troubleshooting
- Domain already exists: If this error shows up your Vanity URL is already taken. If you're absolutely sure that nobody else could possibly be using this domain, you may have submitted this URL earlier as part of a failed signup attempt. If you reach out to us, our support team will be happy to look into this for you.
